This family run hotel clearly relies on weddings for a big chunk of its revenue. Which means, as others have noted here, weddings can get in the way of your stay...as one did with us. This may be a bad thing, depending on the wedding.||||However, in their defence the waiting staff looked after us very well despite being busy attending to the needs of 100 or so drunk wedding guests who were clearly having a great time. And that rubbed-off on us so we enjoyed being close to, but not part of the party. The music was fine and the atmosphere was fun, which helped compensate for the awful weather.||||The room, a suite on the top floor, was a mixed bag. Bed like concrete, way too hard for us, even worse than many other hard Italian beds and made sleep very difficult. Great bathroom. Suite has pitched ceiling under the hotel roof which let a lot of noise in from the rain and thunderstorm. Bad nights, overall.||||Tiny balcony shared with the next door suite, with lake view...and a hornet's nest, which was interesting. No lift and three floors up from the car park, so not ideal for the unfit.||||The head waiter - Claudio, I think - is superb and great fun. The breakfast was excellent and special gluten free cake and warm GF bread was brought without asking. ||||Lovely restaurant staff. Evening dinner was average to good, but nothing that special.||||Overall, we...
