Pizzeria Chicchirichi — Restaurant in Venice

Ok...lets try to be clear on this. Pizza here is great, one of the best..Tiramisu as well. But - why the hell you charge 3€ coperto. I think, this is getting way too much ( 9€ for three of us ). Ok, its italian way of service charge, bread and fork, but this is just getting too sky high. ( I wouldnt mind giving some tips after satisfied evening instead of paying 3€ for each - or pay up to 10% extra from whole bill ) And - why waiter took not finished wine glass from my wife after he saw, that I went to pay the bill ( to be honest - you tried to apologize and give extra wine on the house, and we do thank you for that - but this isnt the solution. Its not very polite, that your guests sometimes feel like "not welcomed" only customers - eat, pay, go... Definitely not nice behaviour here from usually warm welcoming italians elsewhere. I also noticed here on google reviews, there is no feedback from manager on any positive or negative reviews..I wonder why. .....

So we are sat here in the pizzeria. And yes shown a table,but there is definitely a difference if you are Italian. One waiter looked with disdain whilst others only came when we called upon their attention for beer refills. Sounds petty but no bread and no water offered. So far it is the only restaurant out of the 7 restaurants we have been to to offer this very low service and still expect a “coperto” If you are Italian it is all bread and refills and then bottles of water and big smiles. Don’t get me wrong. Food was delicious but expect to wait and not have attentive service One English couple decided to ask for the bill on the way out. They said they didn’t want to wait 30 mins for it arrive!! So if you have all night and don’t mind a definite difference in the level of service. The food is great but we wanted a really special last night before we went home but unfortunately it didn’t happen here One nice waiter but the establishment was let...

We arrived without a reservation and were a bit worried because the place is clearly popular, but the owner warmly welcomed us since we were early and found a table right away. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the service is genuinely friendly, and every pizza we tried was outstanding—perfectly crisp crust with fresh, flavorful toppings. Although we were lucky to be seated, I highly recommend making a reservation to guarantee a spot, especially during busy evenings.
