Amadora Ventimiglia — Restaurant in Ventimiglia

Sono un po’ combattuto per questa recensione perché il locale è positivo, ma nel contesto del servizio ho notato dei contrasti che voglio evidenziare per favorire con una critica costruttiva per la migliore gestione del cliente. 1) Eravamo in 2, chiediamo di essere fuori ma i tavoli da 4 sono tutti sul lato mare e nonostante poca gente ci impongono un tavolo da due più interno allora optiamo per la sala completamente vuota e quasi quasi anche lì sembra un fastidio farci stare più esterni e staccare un tavolo da 4: con nuovi clienti non si fanno tanti problemi inutili. 2) La cameriera coi capelli corti (La più simpatica e disponibile comunque) prima di venire al tavolo va a spruzzarsi molto profumo, gradevole ma contrario ad una delle regole basilari di un cameriere. 3) Frittura con gamberi da scorticare a mano servita senza lingette profumata che tavoli vicini avevano. 4) Con un primo e secondo mai visto pane. 5) Il cameriere col tatuaggio sul collo nel debarasser un tavolo apre il sacchetto del pane e notando che non era stato consumato lo rimette insieme ad altri già pronti…. 6) Sempre lo stesso porta una ciotolina d’acqua a un cagnolino sulle gambe della padrona e porgendolo lo accarezza più volte, seguo il suo percorso successivo e serve a tavola piatti come se nulla fosse. Sinceramente, nonostante mi reputo tollerante, se fosse venuto al mio tavolo sarei andato via senza esitazione. In tutto cio’ si mangia bene, fritto calamari e gamberi ben fatto, calamarata con una bella salsetta, ottima focaccia, prosecco gustoso e menu non ricco ma a vedere le altre portate bello e attraente con grigliate di pesce interessanti. Se vogliamo anche l’ambiente è gradevole, c’è una equipe giovane ed affiatata a servire, ben coordinata da una signora sorridente alla cassa ma ci vorrebbe meno superficialità e un po’ più di attenzione, purtroppo non ho visto tante cose simpatiche ma conto di tornarci per ritrovare queste disattenzioni superate e rivedere in meglio...

we sat here and waited for about 20 mins and nobody came to take the order, we had to call them up, and mind you the bar was completely empty. we ordered 3 very simple salads and after waiting for around 45 mins we decided to ask them and they said it was almost ready, they kind of have an open kitchen so we could see through the window that they only then started to prepare the salads. staff kept jusy laughing around and didn’t even give a proper explanation. food was not even average and paying 17 euros for packed lettuce and exactly 3 shrimps is insanity. avoid this place...

This place was nice. Staff are friendly. Remember that English isn't widely spoken in these parts. As I can't speak any Italian, I turn to French. The food was very nice. My steak was overcooked but that is because I asked for it that way, I was afraid it would come out with a heartbeat otherwise. My fault. It was cooked exactly how I asked for. Still very tasty. One very good feature is the QR code that you can scan for different language menus and to pay. Would I return. Absolutely. And I would trust the chef a little more next time. Oh, lovely...
