Nimbus Pub — Restaurant in Vicenza

This themed restaurant pub is a little hidden gem. At first it appears like a traditional British pub but with surprise it’s details include many Harry Potter Easter eggs. While this restaurant can be enjoyed by anyone, Harry Potter fans will be ecstatic over the details. The details this restaurant went to with their decor is exceptional and unexpected, even the ceiling is beautiful. The food and service was good. They serve their fried dishes in bowls that resemble cauldrons. Everything has a slight theme without being overdone or childish. They have specially imported Harry Potter butterscotch beer for the kids. Adult can enjoy their beer chilled in a glass room set to 18°. I also saw a large group enjoying their birthday party. Sono andata al nimbus il 21 dicembre e la prima cosa che ha colpito me e i miei amici tantissimo è stato proprio l’ambiente. Anche se non sono amante di harry potter amo comunque il fantasy in generale ed è stato un vero sogno. Ci siamo messi a fare foto da subito da quanto ci è piaciuto. Ho ordinato la salvia fritta che, dopo aver visto nel menù sul sito Internet un mese prima, mi sognavo di notte. L’ho pagata 5€ ma penso ne valesse il doppio. Ho fatto fatica a finirla da quanta ce n’era (in senso buono, non che mi abbia riempita ma meritava i soldi che ho speso) ed era spettacolare. Poi ho preso l’ hamburger di fenice con un hamburger di pollo spaziale. Croccante, non come quelle panature molli appena toccano la salsa. Croccante come una patatina ma l’interno era morbido. La burrobirra che ho preso da bere era poca (perché penso che chi la fa la fa solo nelle bottiglie da 33 quindi amen) quindi se la prendete vi consiglio di prendervi anche qualcos’altro da bere (tipo acqua). Era poca perchè avrei voluto fosse di più da quanto era buona: io amo il caramello e era appunto una soda al caramello e vaniglia. Ne avrei voluto un boccale ma tralasciamo. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, i ragazzi sono gentilissimi e super divertenti. Veramente cinque stelle meritate, da tornarci...

Cool little place. We only had the bread this evening but it was really good. The staff were nice and helpful and spoke English. I think we tried a majority of the potion cocktails.
