Ristorante Le Delizie Del Mare di Antonio Civale is truly a standout culinary experience and one of the highlights of our time in Amalfi. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, offering helpful recommendations and sharing insights about the dishes and ingredients. You can tell they take real pride in what they do — attentive without being overbearing, professional yet personable.
The food itself was simply outstanding. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and deeply rooted in local tradition. We started with a selection of antipasti that showcased the freshness of the sea, followed by perfectly cooked pastas — rich, flavourful, and full of character. The highlight for me was the grilled cod: beautifully tender, lightly seasoned to let the natural flavour shine, and served with just the right accompaniments. It was clear that only the best and freshest ingredients were used.
And we couldn’t leave without trying the desserts. From the classic tiramisu to the house-made lemon delights, each sweet was a perfect way to end the meal — not overly heavy, just delicious and satisfying.
Antonio’s passion for food is evident in every part of the restaurant, from the quality of the ingredients to the welcoming atmosphere and the care shown by the entire team. This is not just a place to eat — it’s a place to relax, savour, and appreciate the best of what Amalfi has to offer.

Read moreWe had the 4 course set menu here. Honestly, it was sublime ! The flavours were so fresh and yet intricate, sensational ! The first course was a selection of seafood, and the razor clams on the plate had phenomenal flavour and yet were so simply prepared. Apparently, the owners brother is a fisherman or works at the fish market ( couldn't work it out ), but this means the quality of the seafood is just fantastic. The pasta course was wonderfully flavoursome; a prawn sauce served with a "squid" pasta; so named due to its calamari like shape rather than any squid content. It had a depth of flavour but was zingy, the pasta itself was al dente, cooked to perfection 🥰 The tuna steak with pistachio was also cooked to perfection, I preferred the pistachio over the sesame crust as the sesame overwhelmed the taste of the tuna somewhat. We had a local house whitw wine and limoncello to finish. The set menu dessert was fresh pineapple, and we added a chocolate ice cream fondant onto the order, which went very well with the limoncello. The restaurant is set on the banks of the river where the air is fresher. We sat in the conservatory area where there was aircon which was calming and private, if I ever am lucky enough to go again I will sit inside to soak up the atmosphere of the restaurant and the other diners enjoying...
Read moreSiamo stati ieri in questo locale e si sono rivelati Una delusione totale dopo aver aspettato 1 ora e 20 minuti per 2 primi piatti che non arrivavano con gentilezza chiedevamo spiegazioni in merito e a questo punto la sorpresa inaspettata due camerieri della sala che in modi molto sgarbati ci dicevano che questi erano i loro modi di lavorazione quindi se volevamo mangiare dovevamo aspettare i loro tempi facendoci capire esplicitamente che se restavamo o andavamo via sarebbe stata la stessa cosa, quindi a questo punto abbiamo deciso di andare via senza mangiare alle 1530 e loro senza nessun riguardo anno continuato ad essere cafoni fino alla fine ! quando sarebbe bastato avere un po piu' di maniera e qualche parolina di scuse ammetendo di averci causato un disgio e la discursione sarebbe finita ! ma purtroppo ci siamo trovati difronte a persone incompetenti che non sanno come rapportarsi con i clienti !
