This new restaurant with a Turkish menu is a nice addition to the restaurant desert that is Comasina & the adjacent neighborhoods. Everything has been renovated inside from the previous restaurant & now it's a bright, clean place with some thought put into design & decor.
The menu, although impossible to fully understand if you're not already familiar with the offerings, is very extensive & has something for everyone. The service is good but quite awkward & unfamiliar with standards of service but polite & attentive. The gentleman who helped us suggested a tasting menu that included a variety of dips to start & a board with a taste of most of the grilled meats & sides. The food was fantastic & our expectations of taste & quality were exceeded.
I'm gifting 4 stars instead of 3 because this is a new, much-needed minority-owned restaurant & it takes a lot of courage to open & sustain a business especially during a pandemic but...
