Hanedan — Restaurant in Zona Omogenea Milano Nord

This new restaurant with a Turkish menu is a nice addition to the restaurant desert that is Comasina & the adjacent neighborhoods. Everything has been renovated inside from the previous restaurant & now it's a bright, clean place with some thought put into design & decor.

The menu, although impossible to fully understand if you're not already familiar with the offerings, is very extensive & has something for everyone. The service is good but quite awkward & unfamiliar with standards of service but polite & attentive. The gentleman who helped us suggested a tasting menu that included a variety of dips to start & a board with a taste of most of the grilled meats & sides. The food was fantastic & our expectations of taste & quality were exceeded.

I'm gifting 4 stars instead of 3 because this is a new, much-needed minority-owned restaurant & it takes a lot of courage to open & sustain a business especially during a pandemic but...

UNFORTUNATELY, it's like said pandemic doesn't exist inside this establishment. There was not one meaningful precaution taken dictated by law or even common sense. If you're ever in Milan, you absolutely must visit this restaurant – it’s a culinary dream come true! The food? Calling it amazing would be an understatement. Having been to Istanbul many times, I can honestly say that the flavors here are just as authentic as in the heart of the city. The meat? Melt-in-your-mouth tender and seasoned to perfection. Real Turkish Restaurant serving a mix of traditional dishes, spacing from Pide, Kebaplar (Kebabs), and a fantastic Turk Kahvalti (Turkish breakfast, called Brunch in their Menu).
