Roadhouse — Restaurant in Zona Omogenea Milano Nord

I truly love this place. The meat is amazing (definitely try the outback steak with black pepper, it's amazing) and they have a wide variety of different meat dishes to choose from. This place is also great to bring kids, as they have a kid's menu that includes a little gift. The waiters are usually very nice and helpful. The prices are very reasonable for a restaurant that serves really good quality meat. Especially on festives the place might get pretty busy, so make sure to make a reservation or else you might have to wait...

Inside the Centro Sarca, this location offers grilled meats, hamburgers and gourmet sandwiches. Being a chain of informal steakhouses, the mise en place is minimal (paper placemats, paper napkins and modern rustic furnishings). Sono stato oggi al Roadhouse Grill di Sesto San Giovanni, nel Centro Sarca, e purtroppo l’esperienza è stata deludente sotto ogni punto di vista. Il piatto di pollo che mi è stato servito era inaccettabile, sia per presentazione che per qualità. In una città come Milano, che offre standard gastronomici elevati, è inconcepibile che una catena come Roadhouse si permetta di servire un piatto simile.

Parliamo di un brand che si propone come una steakhouse di qualità, ma l'esperienza reale è ben lontana dai valori di autenticità, attenzione al cliente e qualità delle materie prime che tanto pubblicizzano. Il piatto sembrava trascurato, come se fosse stato assemblato in fretta senza alcuna cura per il cliente.

Siamo in un contesto commerciale importante, il Centro Sarca, dove l’aspettativa di chi sceglie un ristorante di questo tipo è almeno quella di ricevere un pasto dignitoso. Quello che ho ricevuto era quasi offensivo: il pollo era mal cotto, secco, esteticamente sgradevole, e l’impiattamento lasciava a desiderare.

Se questo è il livello che Roadhouse considera accettabile, allora è evidente che i loro valori aziendali sono più orientati al profitto rapido che al rispetto del cliente. Il brand perde completamente di credibilità quando permette che vengano serviti piatti di questo livello.

Mi auguro che questa recensione venga letta da chi ha la responsabilità del locale e che ci sia un intervento immediato, perché a Milano non ci si può permettere questo tipo di...
