Buns Meat Buns (バンズ ミート バンズ — Restaurant in Akashi

Really wanted to like this place. It is close to where we live and I was excited to try it. It may have been a really off day for the shop but here is my feedback:

Pros: The place is a good size (not too small) It is close to Akashi park The California/American decor is cool and has good vibes

Cons: The burgers were dry (overcooked) The avocado was bad and you could easily see it when you looked at the avocado yet they decided to put it on the burger anyway instead of saying they ran out (also had frozen flavor: not fresh) Overpriced (3burgers was 4,800Yen or ~$48) There was only one guy (I believe he was the owner/uni student) on a Saturday afternoon trying to cook burgers, serve, cashier, etc. This should not be done for customer service reasons (overcook burgers while trying to run around, only give one serving of water, don't get to focus on building relationship with patrons).

知人から「昼飯どーよ」と誘いを受け、 案内されるまま近所のマックスバリュに車を停めて数分歩いて到着。 病院向かいのビルの2Fで、 行った時は階段周りがペンキ？シンナー？臭かったです。

ドアを開けると西海岸風の店内が見え、店舗自体はそこまで広いわけでもないのですが、 カウンターとテーブル席が開けているため面積以上に広々とした印象を受けます。 インテリアのデザインなども揃えられており、統一感を感じます。

入った時にお客さんが1人いましたが、すぐ食事を終えて出られたので 実質貸切状態で食事ができたのは思いがけない幸運でした。

日曜日の少し遅めのランチで訪問。 店内に先客は2組ほど。 おすすめだと言うBMBバーガーとコーラをオーダーした。 店員さんにお願いしてパティとベーコンを焼いているところの写真を撮りたいとお願いしてみたら快く承諾してくれた。後から気づいたがカウンター越しに撮れたらいいかなと思っていたがキッチンの中に入らせてもらって撮影させてもらえた。なんとも優しい。 出来上がったバーガーは見た目のボリュームもさることながら味も抜群にうまかった。メイプルとBBQソースの相性はよく、甘いのは甘いのだが嫌な甘さでは無くパティとベーコンの旨みを引き立てて、塩味と甘味のバランスがとても良い。 手作り感たっぷりで、まさにクラフトバーガーの真骨頂。 添えられたポテトも揚げたて熱々で、外はカリッとしながら中はホクホクで塩梅もいい。 これらの濃厚な肉の旨み✖️コーラの爽快感🟰最高のペアリングだ。 ファーストフードでは無く"ごちそうバーガー"。特別な時間を楽しめた。 支払いは現金のほか各種キャッシュ...
