Okonomiyaki dojo — Restaurant in Akashi

The Akashiyaki here was a standout, known for its soft and pillowy texture. It’s made with a flavorful batter mixed with chunks of octopus, giving it a rich, savory taste. The dish was served with a delicate dashi broth, into which I dipped the Akashiyaki, enhancing the flavor with a light, umami touch. Their okonomiyaki was equally impressive, offering a perfect balance between the crispy exterior and the soft, well-seasoned interior. Terrible service and experience. All the staff were old and had no idea what they were doing. They forgot our order and after we asked where our food was, they told us it takes a long time to cook and we should 'just wait longer'. Also, they have a bad habit of talking to customers like they are friends. Concentrate on doing your job instead of talking to each other and pretending to work.

Really should hire some younger staff who know what is going on. We are never coming back. Absolutely shocking how bad the experience was. First time I have ever walked out of a restaurant in Japan....

評価下げます… 前々から思ってましたが、いよいよ接客が酷いです！ 店内に入ると、いらっしゃいませの声かけもなし、このまま待ってて大丈夫？と思いながら待つ→30分ほど待って席に案内される、座って明石焼き注文すると「注文がいっぱいで1時間ほどかかる」と言われました。 え、30分待たせた挙句？そんなに提供時間がかかるなら、店入ったときに伝えられませんか？ 結局その日は諦めて、後日。 その日も安定の声かけなし、前回のことがあるのでこちらから注文状況は聞こうと思ってました。レジを終わらせた店員に「どれくらい待ちますか？」と尋ねると、顔も上げずレジの操作に目を落としたままで「もう一組待ってます。密になるので外で待ってもらってるんですよねー。ごにょごにょ…」 いや、別に待つのは良いし、外でお待ちくださいと言われれば外で待ちます。なんでそんな愚痴っぽい言い方なんでしょうか。 「もう一組お待ちなのでその後になりますが、外でお待ちいただいていいですか？」これだけでよくないですか？そんな言い方されるとじゃあどうすれば良いんですか？てなります。 基本混んでると声かけが0なので、他のお客さんもいつも困ってます。そのまま待ってても良いのかどうなのかすら分からないからです。分からないから帰られる人もよく見かけますが、当然店員は無視です。 空いてるときは普通に接客してくれます。でも混んでるときとの差がありすぎます。新人でもないのにもう少し普通に接客してほしい。できないならホールやるべきじゃないです。本当に酷いし残念です。 移転する前は混んでてもこんなことありませんでした。改善してほしいです。好きな店だったのにこんな不快な思いを毎回するならもう行かなくても良いかなと思ってます。ちゃんと接客してくれる明石焼きやさんは他にいくらでもあります。
