Felt like eating tonkatsu this afternoon, so we paid this Tonkatsu Dei a visit.
Easily found, it was along the main seafront road. The main frontage has a big red sign with words like pork cutlet and a picture of pig displayed.
Inside, we were welcomed by friendly staff. Interior decor was neat and clean, with lots of seating capacity.
We're served by young Nepalese waitresses who could speak some English and that made things much easier for us.
We ordered the black pork loin set and 2 portions of prawns. Each portion of this prawn comes in 3 pcs.
These prawns were quite good and tasty, which was why we ordered the 2nd portion. The pork was alright, flavourful and fragrance.
It came with rice, soup and some side dishes which were all refillable.
Service was great. The 2 Nepalese ladies did their job, but the older japanese ladies sealed the deal. Their special friendly Japanese touch made the difference!
Parking was easy, ample parking spaces nearby or just beside the restaurant.
Price was reasonable, there are slightly dearer sets because the meat- cuts are different. Some are better cuts.
We had a great time here n...

A very nice mix for this disk. Nice tried and good for recommend. We have ordered the greedy lunch set. The fish and meat are also well prepared. Their...

There are side dishes available as well, or you can order individual items off the menu if you aren't up for a set. I recommend the fried chicken skin with ponzu, a popular Beppu/Oita dish. If you are a frequent visitor, get the point card. I stopped in here once but I will...
