Biei Forest KONON Cafe & Stay — Restaurant in Biei

Very serene.

A legit cafe out of nowhere.

It’s located in the farm area and in the middle of the woods.

I can imagine during autumn and winter it’ll be very beautiful there.

It’s a cafe that’s located near a lodging.

Ideally only can fit 2-3 people.

The owner was really nice. He saw us coming and created a makeshift space near the basin so that we can sit down while the other guests were occupying the main table near the window.

Coffee was great and I got their berry tea. Very aromatic and enjoyable.

You can walk around the forest after and look for some squirrels or wild poisonous mushrooms 🍄

KONON Cafe deserves 5 stars based on the owner's hospitality and venue atmosphere alone but he served delicious coffee & tea as well.

The cafe interior offers a relaxing & comfortable atmosphere with both indoor & outdoor seating.

Surrounding area is filled with large trees, you can hear the sound of birds (and can see them flying down to find food as well). Unfortunately we went on a rainy day, otherwise we would have sat outside to bird watch & enjoy coffee.
