My boyfriend and I went here for my birthday dinner today. I wanted to try a new restaurant and was in the mood for a burger. There are a couple other burger places in American Village that I've tried, but this place was definitely better.
We were seated immediately when we arrived and it wasn't busy at all. The seats were really comfortable. The table had bottles of yellow mustard and ketchup. Normally, I always see ketchup, but I see yellow mustard much less often. Maybe you don't care about the mustard, but I love dipping fries in mustard so this was a massive win for me.
The burgers here were pretty good; cooked to about medium well and had a slight smokiness to them (sorta charcoal flavor). Normally, I prefer burgers cooked to medium rare, but the meat was still quite tasty and juicy.
I ordered the avocado burger set and got extra pickles on mine. It was delicious and I really enjoyed the freshness of the avocado. It came with a sauce, but I don't know what it was exactly. Maybe some kind of aioli? My boyfriend got the BBQ burger. He basically inhaled it and said it was pretty good. He did think the fries needed more salt, but I thought they were fine.
My favorite thing I got today was the side of mac and cheese. I don't know what they did to it, but this mac and cheese was absolutely immaculate. I would eat an entire cafeteria sized tray of this stuff if my stomach would allow me. It was so cheesy and reminded me of my mom's homemade mac. This place has a mac and cheese burger on the menu, so I know what I'm getting next time I come here.
All in all, I had a really enjoyable meal here and I'm happy I chose this place for my...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this hidden gem and decided to give it a try after looking at the menu. When we walked in we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The employee was in the middle of grinding fresh meat for the burgers, which was super exciting! They have a huge variety of burger topping options and you can choose from three burger sizes. They even have animal style burgers and fries like In-N-Out! Our burgers were delicious!!! Some of the best we’ve had on island. The two reasons I gave four stars is because we got the combo with fries and there were so few fries and I ordered the small burger and there was too much bun. Next time I’ll just order a...
Read moreWorst burger I’ve ever had in Okinawa. Depressing beef patty that is half the size of the bun. I can easily tell the beef is frozen and fries aren’t made just bought. Nothing here is fresh even the bread is in ziploc bag I can see on the counter. Expensive for mediocre food. People that say it’s good must have never had a good burger. Stay away from here and save your money don’t fall for the cute atmosphere....
