After checking into the hotel and checking my messages, I discovered I could only stay 2 out of 4 nights due to a family medical emergency. I had checked in and paid the full amount less than 15 minutes earlier, and when I went to the desk the manager initially said he would still need to charge all the nights. I insisted that was outrageous and horrible service, he settled on charging me 3 nights.||The rooms are very dated and run down for the amount you pay. Since I do not want you to think I’m just disgruntled over the cancellation issue I’ve shared pictures of the peeling mirror, water damaged wall, mold and the rusted air conditioning unit. ||However, the tide pool that it has exclusive access to is beautiful and the garden between the hotel and beach is filled with butterflies. When the tide is out in the afternoon you can’t really swim there but it’s good to explore. The pool is very small for the size of the hotel.||The restaurant looks recently renovated and has a wonderful view of the beach. For breakfast, there was a good diversity of Japanese and Western dishes. But be forewarned, there are not many restaurants nearby and only 1 within walking distance.||Overall, was quite disappointed in the service and the value for the amount we paid, especially compared to other hotels...

We were exhausted to hunt elsewhere for food and were happy to hear they are serving dinner buffet at their restaurant. The food was tasty and the spread was good. |The breakfast, which we opted to include in our room rate, was also delicious and spread was appealing to our family with young children.|We booked a Standard room with Sea view - non smoking room via booking.com. We were satisfied that there was no trace of smoke at all in our room.|We have a older child so our room is for Triple sharing. |The bathroom was spacious and clean. |The hotel has a beach right behind it so one can walked to the beach with ease.|There was an open air car park right in front of the hotel lobby when we arrived and had no issues parking or pushing our luggage to the lobby as there is a ramp to do so. |Overall we would have liked to stay for more nights and will choose to stay in Best Western Okinawa Onna Beach again when we visit...
