First things first, I know everyone gets anxiety about it so…parking and finding the shop was fairly easy. There’s enough parking for 4 maybe 6 cars. 2 covered spots in front of the shop and a little gravel lot right next to it.
I am honestly surprised this shop doesn’t have thousands of amazing reviews already. Everything about this little coffee shop was perfect- the coffee, the atmosphere, the cute aesthetic, customer service, and parking.
Walking into the shop you are pleasantly greeted with the delicious smell of coffee, cute shisa decor, a small area where you can purchase coffee beans or cute jewelry, and a large map and cork board that shows customers that have come to the shop from all over.
I ordered the iced caramel latte, which was delicious. Both the bear and Halloween skull was made with cold brew, so it was nice that as my “ice” melted that it didn’t water down my coffee-which to me is important with this hot Oki sun. This is more of a stop in and go coffee shop, there’s no seating but they do have clean bathroom access which is much appreciated (especially when you bring small children).

While planning my trip for the day in Okinawa, I did what any coffee lover would do—deep-dived into the best local coffee spots. Yukuremi Coffee kept popping up at the top of every list, so naturally, I had to check it out. And wow, it did not disappoint.
The first thing that caught my eye? Their signature ice cube coffee bear. Yes, you read that right—a little bear-shaped ice cube made of coffee, slowly melting into milk. It’s almost too cute to drink (but don’t worry, I did). 🧊🐻
I usually steer clear of caramel drinks, but the reviews raved about it so I gave in. While it was beautifully presented and had a great flavor, it was definitely on the sweeter side for me. Next time, I’ll go for a less sweet option—maybe just a straight-up cold brew to let the coffee shine.
If you’re in Okinawa and love coffee with a little charm, Yukuremi Coffee is worth the stop. Just don’t forget to snap a pic of the coffee bear before it melts. 📸

Read moreThis place is awesome! The menu is large with so many fun things to try. I got an iced coffee mocha which was the best coffee I've had on island so far. I will be back to try other menu items as well as for the shaved ice. They also have beautiful jewelry for sale along with house roasted coffee beans. I bought coffee beans because my husband and I love fresh coffee. Also, the man who was working was incredibly patient and kind as we browsed the store and menus. We had little kids with us and he was just so friendly and patient. Thank you, sir. I'm sorry I didn't get your name. We...
