Eboshi Main Store — Restaurant in Chigasaki

We had a large group of 9 people for a birthday party, we had a great time at this traditional, family-friendly restaurant. We ordered so much food and there was an opportunity for everyone to try. I think it was a bit on the expensive side.

I only had the tofu salad and the tomato basil salad. I loved it. The tomatoes were super flavorful and paired well with the basil oil mixture. The tofu salad was also good, it had a huge chunk of tofu included. It was ok flavor-wise, but I loved the amount of tofu.

The desserts were also great. I thought the service was really fast considering the staff are pretty elderly. I loved this restaurant and would definitely come back, I thought it was great for a party. The environment can be pretty loud at times and you need to raise your voice to talk, but it is ok for...

Good food. Food is good value but not the most cheap when I went for lunch.

Service was a bit slow as we tried to order with one of the staff but they seemed a bit understaffed. Some other staff we tried to order with also was not allowed to take orders for some reason? Perhaps not enough training. Overall just slow service but quality was great.

This is my favorite place to eat if you feel like eating fresh fish! I've known this place from over 30yrs ago. Every time when I come home, gotta go once! ONLY thing still hasn't changed and I don't appreciate is smoking area still exists... separate seatings for smoking/non-smoking but still you smell smoke!!!
