Nowhere Hajinosato — Restaurant in Fujiidera

The road to "Nowhere H*" is one minute walk NNE from Hajinosato Station (Kintetsu Railway Minami Osaka Line.) A soft-spoken vintage sign invites you to take an alley into the nook of retro-fit row houses, giving you a feeling of time slip a half-century back. Nestled behind Fire Station, this hard-to-find place is "Creation Base", a multi-functional establishment with French Bistro/Cafe on 1F and co-working space on 2F. After getting together with our City Guide group for mid-morning coffee in the cafe, we stayed to try their blue place special (￥1,200) for lunch. Preceded by a big plate of extremely fresh green salad, generous serving of stuffed eggplant was so fresh and flavorful, which reminded me of a bit of Moussaka. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared. This is one of those places that you adore so much that you want to keep it secret. コワーキングスペースというのがどういうものか分からずドキドキしながら向かいました。一階はカフェになっていて、ランチやお茶、ケーキが食べられます。二階がコワーキングスペースとやらで、お仕事ができるようです。プリンターやプロジェクターがあり、電源がたくさんあり、筆記用具や本もありました。どちらも素敵な空間でした。ランチは日替わりもありました。あったかくて美味しい料理でした。ケーキも大きくボリュームがありとても美味しそうでした。店主さんも素敵なお人柄でした。また通いたいと思います。
