Moose Hills Burger — Restaurant in Fujikawaguchiko

Overall, it's a wonderful restaurant. To kick off the review, the atmosphere, if you dine in, is really cool and homey, playing music from classical-pop to rock. The first time I ate at the restaurant, I stayed in the golf section. This includes golf bobbleheads, T-shirts, and unique little trinkets. Secondly, the service: the staff working there is very pleasant and friendly; they seem genuinely happy to work there. Lastly, the food - the dishes are astronomically good. I highly recommend the burgers, ranging from standard cheeseburgers to Niagara Falls burgers (basically overflowing with cheese) and hot chicken breast burgers. All of the burgers are astonishing in their semi-unique way. If you're feeling additionally hungry, the onion rings are top-tier. I personally did not like onion rings before I tried them at Moose Hills Burger, but let me tell you, they are good. The addition of an Oreo Milkshake in the meal is something you can't go wrong with, or you can try something like the chocolate banana milkshake.

Just a bit of an FYI: the restaurant is a bit small and only open during specific time periods (in the evening from 5:30 to 7:30).

Walked for hours and hours and got here just in time before the lunch hours were done. Even at 2pm on a Monday, we had to wait 30min (probably because it was summer vacay for students). So lucky we got to slide in the waiting line. Not much space to wait outside and there's a smoking area so the smoke may come to you which is not too pleasant. Don't forget to apply bug spray! I got bitten by mosquitoes on my legs while waiting. We got nachos as an appetizer and beers. Abundance of cheese, jalapenos, and salsa on the nachos. If you come in a pair recommend to sit next to each other because the plastic dividers make it hard to talk. We ordered mexicana burger and creamy spinach mushroom burger. Beef was very beefy/meaty and not too greasy which I loved. Never had cream spinach with a burger so I was amazed by their creativity. Everyone was ordering this. If I had more space I definitely would've ordered...

A group of us went to FujiQ Highland to hang out for the day and later on for dinner, we all met up at Moose Hills to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, they do not accept reservations so when we showed up, we still had to wait another 30 minutes or so for tables to open up to seat all of us (there were 12 of us). We finally were seated but we had to split up since we had kids with us and didn't want them waiting any longer and was getting late; we placed our orders and got our drinks when a table near our friends opened up so the staff were kind enough to offer the table so we could all sit together. Now to the burgers... wow! They were delicious! Very juicy and tasty and reminded me of the best burgers I've had back stateside. My husband loved his burger and said we wanted to eat another one! I definitely wouldn't mind coming back here again if we're in the Lake...
