The reviews for this place was bad but I didn't read it before we went so I didn't have any prejudice about the place and I didn't feel like they we're rude to us ever though we were clearly foreigners. The old man even went outside to greet us and lead us inside. I asked the old lady if we can sit outside and she said "feel free to do so.." in a nice way.

Read moreHad the local hoto noodle dish and it had ACTUAL vegetables! Mushrooms, beans, carrot, pumpkin and large tofu bits. Serving was HUGE. 1500 yen for Hoto dish with rice and pickle sides. Very reasonable Ramen serving had a rich broth - 750 yen.
