The care and consideration is simply unmatched - having been to many Michelin Star or similar experiences this is the best experience we’ve ever had. They opened only to serve my girlfriend and I and were the most considerate hosts we could have imagined. If you are in Japan I could not recommend this place enough. Very unique experience. Felt like a family dinner since everyone sits at the same table but the chef prepares and explains each dish as he is doing it. They offered alcohol or non alcoholic pairing and almost all the drinks and food are from that area. Yamanashi. Very talented chef. You can also stay up there at the hotel near the restaurant if you want a night in the mountains.
