Ma Maison West Lake store — Restaurant in Fujikawaguchiko

MA MAISON is a resort inn combined with a restaurant. The small cozy hotel standing by the Lake Saiko even has a pool inside which opens only in summer. The room we stayed was pretty neat except for a remnant of cigarette but it didn’t bother me at all. It’s basically clean and big enough for 2 to 4 people. The location was so cool ‘cause the mountains were rising up the back of the building and the lake was right before it. At nigh you see no lights other than your room light and driving in the complete darkness scared the devil out of me. That was fun though.||The serving guy was pretty cool too. They altered the menu for me, both dinner and breakfast because I don’t eat meat and the meals were remarkably satisfying. 5泊6日の富士五湖制覇の旅。こちらには2泊。 検討されている方のために、良かった点イマイチだった点を綴ります。

【良かった点】 ・なんといってもロケーションが最高！西湖の目の前も目の前。柵や岩があって湖と分断されているのではなく、砂浜？で繋がっていて波打ち際まで行けます。夏は水遊びできますね。穏やかな波のチャポンチャポンいう音が心地よく、優雅に泳ぐカモさんにも会えました。わざわざ車を出して出かける時間はないけど、空き時間の10分だけ散歩したいみたいな過ごし方もできます！ ・若い方の方の接客が大変素晴らしかった。常に笑顔、気遣いも沢山して下さり、たとえば「パンのおかわりはいかがですか？」など頼みにくいこともあちらから言って下さいます。朝食の際に「牛乳をいただけますか？」とワガママ申したところ、「勿論でございます」とニッコリ応じてくれて、何かとお願い事をしやすい空気を作ってくれました。 ・お風呂が巨大。２人で入浴しても余裕です。カラフルな照明が点滅するなどラブホテルを連想させましたが（笑）開放的なので部屋風呂でもくつろげました。 ・タオル類は、どこの高級ホテルよりも分厚くフワフワ。アメニティ類は良い物を置いて下さっています。 ・富士五湖の中でも西湖は樹海のそばということもあり、一番神秘的でステキでした。透明度も一番高かったように感じました。観光客が周りに全然いないので、ゆったり静かに過ごせますよ。

【イマイチだった点】 ・レストランということもあり期待し過ぎてしまっていたのかもしれませんが、お食事の満足度は少し低めに。特に、朝食でベーコン＆卵の組み合わせ、夕食コースでもベーコン＆卵と同じパターンの組み合わせが出た時は、「またかぁ……」と残念でした。 ・朝の自家製パンはとても美味しかったのですが、バタージャム類は格安ビジネスホテルでも出てくるものと同じもの。せっかくパンを美味しく焼いているのに半分無駄になってしまう感じなので勿体ないなと…… ・入浴剤を用意して下さったのはめちゃくちゃ嬉しかったのですが、湯船が大きすぎて薄まりまくり、入浴剤１包ではほぼ無意味です（笑）入浴剤を２種類置いて下さっていたのですが、2種類ではなく同じ香りを２つ入れられれば大きな湯船でも香りを感じながら入れるので、同じものを２つ置いて下さった方が利用者は嬉しいです。 ・階段だらけなので、足腰の弱い高齢...
