Hilo Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Fujisawa

The best ice cream I've ever had, bar none. The shop was open only on Fridays and weekends but will be offering its sweet deliciousness to everyone in Shonan (and beyond) on Mondays and Tuesdays as well from June 2018. What I particularly like about Hilo is the fact that they don't only rely on the best-sellers but also keep experimenting with new flavours and season-limited specials. Super delicious! Thick and creamy just like how I love it! There are also many varieties to choose from too! At first, we were worried about parking space but there's a coin parking right beside the shop for 300 Yen per half an hour. The shop's specialty of homemade cone is a must! Although since it is homemade, it is quite brittle and easily fall apart especially when you apply some force to scoop out the thick ice cream from the cone.

I didn't dislike this ice cream shop. The place inside is small but outside there is a large space where you can sit and eat your ice cream quietly. They have some special flavors, some really interesting. The ice cream is not very sweet and maybe a little too cold at first, to enjoy it at its best it is better to wait for it to melt a little. I risked breaking the small wooden spoon several times. The staff is friendly, the price is average for ice cream shops...
