Fantastic 串カツ, great drinks, wonderful service. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively and local while also very friendly. Lots of unique dishes. We had the assortment of 煮込み, the potato salad, and a variety of 串カツ. Our favorite was probably either the asparagus of the shrimp which can be eaten from head to tail. Variety of condiments to eat the カツ with, my favorite was the salt but also the 出し 酢 was very unique. Server was super friendly and explained the menu to us in detail. The guys making the dishes were all working very hard and were very attentive. Really enjoyed everything about the restaurant and would highly recommend it. Lastly it was quite busy so I would definitely put in a reservation. Great place!

【串揚げと煮込みの店 ほたる @辻堂】 昨年10月の訪問。 以前訪問して気に入ったので、2回目の訪問です。 この日は『サザンオールスターズ 茅ヶ崎ライブ2023』の最終日。 辻堂でライブビューイングを楽しんだ後、その足でこちらにお邪魔しました。 『バナナマンのせっかくグルメ』で紹介されたばかりだったので無理かなと思ったのですが、遅い時間だということもありなんとか入店できました。 —————————— ◆串揚げ諸々 何を食べたか記憶が朧げですが写真と記憶を頼りに思い出せるのは、紅しょうが・ハムカツ・ハムカツチーズ・うずらぐらいですね。 ただ、ここの串揚げは衣がきめ細かくあっさりした口当たりで、どれも美味しいのは間違いないんです。 ◆石焼たこめし 串揚げと煮込みの店と謳ってますが、自分はむしろこれが食べたくて再訪したといってもいいぐらいのお気に入り！ 熱々の石鍋でたこめしを混ぜていくと、醤油とバターのイイ香りが湯気とともに漂ってくるのですが、これがホントたまらない！！ 串揚げや煮込みも美味しいのですが、胃袋に余裕があれば（なくても）ぜひ食べてもらいたい一品です。 ◆塩モツ煮込み とろっとろなのにあっさりした味わいでいくらでも食べられるモツ煮です。 『牛すじ煮込み』と『豚タンとまと煮込み』もありますが、自分はこれが一番好きですね。 ◆揚げ銀杏 銀杏好きにはマストです。 でも熱々なので、殻を剥くのに苦労します。 ◆おいしいコロッケ ◆フライドポテト このあたりの揚げ物メニューも当然美味い。 とくにコロッケが印象に残ってます。 このお店のメニューで、衣つけて揚げる系のものはたぶんどれも美味しいんじゃないですかね。 —————————— サザンオールスターズのライブも楽しかったし、ほたるの料理も美味しかったし、満喫した一日になりました。

An absolute pleasure to dine here. I could not put a single fault on any dish or drink served. The food was delicious, fresh and tasted like it was prepared by chefs with the utmost care and respect for their food and the customers' experience. Will definitely visit here again when I return to Japan from Australia. Thank you....
