American Grill EY's — Restaurant in Fukui

Every couple months I visit Fukui City, a few of my friends always want to visit E.Y.'s American Restaurant (ie. "Hamburger Land") in search of a good burger. They offer up a variety of burgers and toppings, fries, burger plates, and creamy shakes. Their decor, too, is distinctly American-diner-inspired, with red and white colors, American posters, and music playing in the background.

Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of their burgers. While I feel their price point is justified given the freshness and overall quality, the flavor in the meat is lacking. Without the right seasonings, at least even a shot of pepper and salt, the patties do not have the right kick a really good burger...

Awesome place. Tons of great burgers. Prices are a tad high but for what might be the best (or 2nd best) boutique burger place in Fukui they really aren't so bad. I have been coming here since it opened, I think nearly 8 years ago. The services and food/price has waxed and waned throughout the years, but the owner seems to have settled on a menu and quality of service that works well now. Super friendly owner. My family, myself, and a friend, spent one lunch time at this restaurant. The food selection is very good. The serving portions are also good (even if very messy)! The staff were fine during our visit, though the pricing is a little expensive. Regular drinks are refillable, and you can change them yourself at any time, which is convenient.
