A little ways out of town in Wajiro but definitely worth the time to get out there for fairly authentic TexMex grub in a cozy setting. Portions are huge and filling. The owner serves up the food promptly and welcomes each patron with a big Texas smile. There are two combo dishes on the menu for those who want to try a little of everything. The difference is whether you want chili con carne or bbq ribs along with a burrito, soft and hard shelled tacos and Mexican rice and some greens. You can ask for the bean burrito to be vegetarian in which case the chili con carne is omitted and the refried beans remain. Doesn't sound so great but what saves it is the complimentary green salsa along with side orders of guacamole and sour cream. Not to mention the cheese melted all over it. Actually I enjoyed it twice so far I'd happily give 5 out of 5 if there was a veg chili bean version available.

I've had bad Mexican food in a lot of countries but it's always worth it because when you crave Mexican food, you want Mexican food.

BUT, Chili Joe's is legitimately incredible. The food here was simply amazing and made me feel like I was back in the states. The owners made this place feel as if you are at any Mexican restaurant in the states. The food was delicious and the portion sizes are large.
