It’s my first time traveling to Fukushima, asked to friend for breakfast recommendation and they told me this. There’s elevator to access, tho walk a bit from station.
Came on Saturday morning, a bit rainy & quite cold, around 08:00. There’s only other 2 customers but around 08:30, more customers come.
Inside very spacious and even I bring luggage, I can easily bring in & put nearby my table. There are 3 staffs, and they greeted,”good morning” very warmly.
Their service very good & having warm smile, and it’s so heart-warming 🥹
I ordered C set, but without natto. Rice is able to choose little, normal, or large—for free. A & C set, you can choose fried egg or tamagoyaki. I asked staff which one Is recommended and she said tamagoyaki. I didn’t regret—it’s so fluffy, and the sweetness so melting on my mouth. The appetizers (?) seems changing daily, and I got daikon, konyaku, and carrot. It’s so fresh!
The salmon’s saltiness are just right, and compliment the tamagoyaki’s sweetness. You got a nori pack, just like a regular Japanese breakfast. And the miso soup having shimeji, bean sprouts, and tofu in it, they’re so chewy and the veggies inside so fresh. Sausage not too salty. I’m so impressed with all the flavors, all are complimenting each others & the balance are just right!
The hot coffee and Houjicha are self service.
I’ll have breakfast here again next time I’m coming to Fukushima...

Read moreThis has been one of my favorite places for lunch and dinner before, during, and since the coronavirus pandemic. Staff have been conscientious, professional, and friendly throughout. Mid June, 2024, they finally had to raise a few prices to maintain quality. Still a great value for long-term residents, and with the recent weak yen, maybe an even greater value for international visitors. Also in June, 2024, English menus were added -- attached to this review...
