Indian Restaurant Kalash — Restaurant in Funabashi

Solid for four stars. Curry was especially nice though a little bit on the Japanese scale of spiciness. The atmosphere is kind of hard to describe, but it's Indian music with kind of a high ceiling, so I'd describe it as airy. Also feels like a family atmosphere, but it's in a mall, so that's who visits. The naan was slightly on the sweet side. The drink machines were kind of a highlight, both of them being kind of complex. The left machine has three levels of menus before you get to pick the kind of grape drink you want. It was an unlimited drink bar, too. Staff was Indian even though I would have said one of them looked very Nepali. Beginning to sound like I've eaten at too many Nepali places? Or just my preference for the Nepali style of Indian food?

I and my family visited here for my late lunch to enjoy Indian cuisine. We ordered daily special curry set and seafood biryani.

We ordered the daily curry set and seafood biryani. The taste was not bad, but it was rather arranged in Japanese style. It is not the original taste. Some people may like this kind of taste, but if you want to enjoy the real taste of India, this is not the place for you. Especially they use Japanese style sticky rice for Biryani. Better to use more dry types of rice for Biryani.

2024-07 イオンモール船橋の１階レストラン街にあるインドカレー店です。 日曜日のランチではじめて利用しました。 いわゆる日本式インネパカレー店で、普段はあまり食べないのですが、この日はカレーの気分でこちらを選択。 お店はショッピングモールの中だけあって広くて明るくて綺麗です。

自分は限定メニューの「夏のうま辛ポークカレー 1265円」をナン、大辛で。 妻は「エッグキーマ 1100円」をライス、辛口で。 それと「ラッシー 330円」と「アイスチャイ 352円」を注文しました。（すべて税込）

味の方は、、、まあ想像どおりのインネパカレーで普通に美味しいです。 「大辛」はそれほど辛くなく、たぶんココイチの２～３辛くらい。 辛さは上にかけられた唐辛子オイルの量だけだと思います。 ナンの大きさは普通で、かなり薄め。自分にはちょうどいい量ですが、普通の成人男性なら１枚では足りないと思います。 ちなみにいままではナンが食べ放題だったらしいのですが、最近「諸物価の高騰で、おかわりは１枚まで」というお知らせがテーブルに置かれていました。

エッグキーマは辛口ですが、ほとんど辛さは感じられず、むしろ挽き肉から来る甘味が前に出ている感じ。 妻はテーブルの唐辛子をかけて食べていました。 そしてボリューム少な目のナンに反して、ライスの方はかなり大盛り。 妻は食べきれず、自分が３分の１くらいを手伝いました。

なお、サラダはキャベツの千切りに謎のオレンジ色のドレッシング、、、ではなくて和風醤油のようなドレッシングでした。 いつも思いますが、このキャベツの千切り、うれしい人はいるのでしょうか？...
