Peacock — Restaurant in Ginowan

Possibly the worst meal, not because of the food but because of the manager. We stopped in for the first time and wanted to share a lunch. Apparently management has a different rule than the staff. The manager talked to us about having to either buy lunch or pay ¥400 for free tea, which according to her is only included with a meal. No problem, ¥400 it is. Then, she went to far. Our meal arrived and as the food was put on the table, she promptly and aggressively removed all the plates and utensils so only one person could eat. (The table was set for two, chopsticks and small plate for sauces.) The manager's poor manners and poor service was astonishing, removing ALL utensils without explanation and after having us pay for the tea. The food was below acceptable (mixed fried rice set with gyoza), but the meal at this point was completely ruined. I wanted to leave but my properness and manners prevailed. Will not return, ever. Absolutely do not suggest going here. They cater to large groups, but that just reinforces the perception of how much they appreciate money over repeat customers. If this is how you treat customers... With no posted rules and the staff doing one thing while management...

Absolutely love this place. They have everything from shark fin, to duck, to the classic orange chicken. Incredibly peaceful and quite, allowing you to enjoy your date or have a quite evening to yourself and think. The staff are super nice and soft spoken. ( HOWEVER, DO NOT GET TAKE OUT. THE PORTION SIZES ARE 3X SMALLER AND THE PRICES ARE THE SAME. 5,100...
