During our recent visit to Ginowan Seaside Park in Okinawa, we had an unforgettable experience with our girls, especially our one-year-old daughter. The park, known for its beachfront setting, multi-use field, exercise equipment, and scenic paths, truly comes alive in the summertime.

We chose to go during twilight, which proved to be an excellent decision. The cooler evening air made it comfortable for a walk, and the sunset over the ocean created a beautiful backdrop. Despite the number of people present, the atmosphere was remarkably peaceful, allowing us to enjoy our family time without feeling overcrowded.

Our one-year-old daughter had a blast exploring the park. Watching her take her tiny steps along the well-maintained paths, her joy was infectious. The expansive grassy areas provided plenty of space for her to roam freely, and she was delighted by the gentle breeze and the sound of the waves crashing nearby.

The park's facilities were also impressive. The exercise equipment and multi-use fields were well-maintained and popular among visitors. It was nice to see a diverse mix of people engaging in various activities, from jogging to playing sports, all while respecting each other's space.

Overall, Ginowan Seaside Park offered the perfect blend of nature and recreation, making it an ideal spot for families, especially with young children. We left with a sense of contentment, having spent quality time together in such a picturesque and serene environment. We highly recommend this park to anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and enjoyable...

Just a note about the cats in the park.... Nearly all the cats are spayed or neutered and quite friendly. From what I've been told, Ginowan City has very kindly helped pay for most of this and it has made such a huge difference; before the catch-neuter-release program it was actually quite depressing visiting the park because of the sheer number of starving kittens and filthy pregnant queens, but now there are far fewer cats, they are all well fed and healthy, and there is almost no territorial stink like there used to be when the cats had all their bits intact. Some of the older cats near the tennis cats are even totally at ease with young children and often won't bolt when a toddler comes running to them. There is still a fair amount of animal abuse (hence some of the signs warning about the penalties for harming the cats), so don't expect every animal to come up to you. Feeding the cats is still a bit of a touchy subject (I don't think it is strictly forbidden anymore, but you'll get a tut-tut if some of the older Okinawan park visitors spot you giving food. But many volunteers come daily to make sure they are fed, so the is really no reason to even attempt...

エメラルドグリーンの海と砂浜が舞台のフェスティバル 初日の宜野湾マリーナ上空は快晴！気温28度というまさに野外フェス日和の中、会場にはエネルギッシュなオーディエンスが続々と集結。青く輝く海と白い砂浜が広がるロケーションは、まさに沖縄ならではの特別なステージです。エメラルドグリーンの海風が吹き抜ける中、観客たちはお気に入りのアーティストのパフォーマンスに熱狂！Tシャツ姿で汗ばむほどの陽気の中、音楽に身を委ねる人々の笑顔が広がりました。

台風を乗り越えた奇跡の開幕 数日前までは台風21号の影響が懸念されていたものの、自然もフェスの成功を応援してくれたかのように、無事に開幕。11時の開場と同時に多くの人が訪れ、沖縄の美しい風景とともに心震えるライブが次々と繰り広げられました。ステージの一つであるハブSTAGEでは、音楽の力が自然の景観と見事に調和し、まさに「素晴らしい世界」を体現する瞬間があふれていました。
