Their staff is some of the best on all of Okinawa! Their English is on point and they catch errors (like forgetting the extra shot or with whipped cream ordered) before I do most of the time. Be it a caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso, a mocha Frappuccino with caramel sauce, or double tall white chocolate mocha. They're all exceptionally friendly and responsive. We will miss these folks when we leave.

Sometimes the drive thru line is considerably long in the later afternoon (running out into the street because it's a smaller lot to begin with), but there's usually parking to be found, though it's a hit or miss if you're going to waiting just as long inside as you would outside. I usually have no problem either way.

We've done the "pay it forward" a few times when going through the drive thru and the staff was very surprised but excited and grateful. It's always fun to offer little surprises...

Staff is friendly for the most part. Sometimes messes up on the order but the caramel macchiato is on point 97% of the time. You never see this place empty. There's always an older staff member that's a lead or supervisor. The leads I've spoken to never speaks any English. There is a barista that spoke perfect English. She's since left. :(. Now, I have to stick with the basic with no modifications to my drinks. The whole point of having a barista is so they can make your drink your way. Unfortunately Japan doesn't know how to do that. Customer service is not about just smiling as you tell someone "NO". It's about honoring...

Despite the ongoing pandemic, Starbucks was able to quell thought of the difficult times. Social distancing, face masks, hand sanitizers, and a friendly smile set the mood. I was able to secure a seat, make a purchase, and relax with a book ina low tone atmosphere. The background music 🎶 was not intrusive and I was able to make some headway through ' Ulysses'.
