Always wanted to try this location but it was closed when I drove by. Yesterday I finally got the chance and I cannot complain. Upon entry you are taken to a small slice of Vietnam but here in Okinawa. The lanterns adoring the wall/window are quaint and cute. The hostess greets you with a friendly smile and leads you to your seat. Their menu is in Japanese & English for easy convenience. There are also pictures in case you are a visual person. I chose the curry chicken lunch set. If you like to order a drink they have an extensive selection. However, if you prefer just water, they have a self-serve area near the cash register/cashier. If you need any extra items like sauce/flavors this is also on the water table. I also got food togo—grilled chicken and lemon grass and a small chicken pho. The chicken pho was exactly what I need later to quench my hunger/appetite. Wish I could visit during dinner but it’s 40-min from my home. But it’s a great spot...
Read moreVietnam Marley. I absolutely love this place! I’ve tried three or four other Vietnamese restaurants on island and none of them compare. The pho is delicious and savory. The bun bo hue has a nice kick. This reminds me of being home in Florida and having my mom cook for me. The prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is alright. My daughter loves the kids pho ga and it’s the perfect size for my almost two year old. The pho bo has again a nice savory taste to it. The spring rolls throw me off because they are seafood and not the half and half pork/beef I’m used too but they taste great. The com suon is also pretty spot on. Not the exact meats you would normally get back in America or Vietnam but a good replacement for Okinawa. I plan on coming here often. I provided an updated...
Read moreI took my wife and daughter (toddler) here because I am always looking for Pho. We went in for lunchtime, was seated by the friendly and accommodating staff and browsed their menu (has English included).
My wife ordered a side of chicken Pho and a Bahn Mi sandwich and I had the Beef Pho meal. The Bahn Mi was quite savory and very fresh tasting with a nice bit of spice too it, not overwhelming. The chicken Pho was pretty good, first time I had it. The Beef Pho meal was very delicious and well cooked. Great flavors that you expect from a good Pho. It had a side of rice with pork on top (it was different but quite nice) and a bean/tapioca dessert. Good price as well.
We will definitely be returning for more in the...
