Miso ramen was delicious, though it leans on the peppery side (black pepper) which I'll admit isn't my preference. It's less thick than most miso ramen is, made with a pork and chicken base in addition to the miso. I especially like the thick noodles. Atmosphere was nice - the old lady had a building/crafts show up on the TV so it wasn't awkward even when it was empty aside from us. She also was very kind and talked to me a bit, asking where I was from and complimenting my eyes saying they were pretty 😅 Very sweet old lady. The shop is small, one big table that seats 8 near the front and a tatami mat at the back which seats four or six. I would come again! I want to try their chahan next.

店はとても古いが、、紛れもなく名店中の名店。

金華楼は、青葉本店もあるのだが、、比べる事も失礼なくらい、こちらの湊店の方が断然美味い！！仕事が丁寧だし、食べ終わりの後味まで配慮しての、調理と味付けがされている事が判る。

pm3時の一時閉店制が無ければ。。（八戸界隈では割と多いが）　もっと頻繁に訪れたい。。（泣）。

自分は、味噌ラーメンの3点セット　がお決まりのメニューにしています。

チャーハン　激ウマ！！ 味噌ラーメンも、最高に美味い！！。 ギョーザも、パリパリ感など完全無視だが、自分はしっとり目でまろやかでコクを感じれる焼き方が好みなので、文句無く美味い！！。

こんな名店に行かないのは。。人生損してるよ！！ってくらいの貴重なお店。 ...
