Lucky Pierrot Tokura branch — Restaurant in Hakodate

My favorite branch of Lucky Pierrot's! The staff are all cheerful and they remember frequent customers. There are plenty of tables at which to eat inside and the No Wait Telephone Line makes picking up your order easy. They also will take out your order to your car if you order takeout at the store. There is such a wonderful range of great food available here for much cheaper than most family restaurants but with greater quality. Hamburgers, hamburger steaks, omelets over rice (omurice), curry and rice, pizza, shakes, soft serve ice cream. There are loads of souvenir items near the counter, too. Edible ones and stationery, too. There's always some sale or another making their already reasonable prices even more reasonable. A fast-food-style restaurant chain found only in Hakodate. The restaurant can be easily spotted, thanks to its uniquely bright colors from the outset to the distinctively carnival interior. Menus on offer are curry rice, rice omelette, steak and the chain's most famous dish is burger. Prices are very reasonable. We were at this restaurant around noon and it was packed inside as well as cars in parking area. Actually we stopped by the restaurant at a branch in Onuma on the day before but there was a long queue in front of the store so we decided to skip. Most patrons are family and young people. I went because Oshare Japan YouTube channel talked it up. The Chinese chicken burger was good, not great, and the Lucky fries were not to my taste. If you like Japanese curry you'll probably like them more than I did. It was also a weird take on a 60's(?) American diner so it was very loud and gaudy.
