Came here during the tail-end of the snow from winter into early spring. The cozy, toasty, and homely seating area was a perfect way to warm up. This was complimented by the lovable dog "Haru" who enjoys watching and playing with guests, along with the equally lovable host and chef who whipped up an amazing set of dishes for us. We had a Cappriciosa pizza, which he recommended, and a Japanese mushroom & bacon pasta we picked ourselves (we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures!) finishing off with a cake desert (we at least got this one). We were quite blown away at how enjoyable the food was. It was a wonderful experience and we felt very welcome with how friendly and conversational the host was, who was spirited and vibrant despite his age. In fact we came again the next day to try get another juicy meal in before heading out from Hakuba, but sadly he was closed that early afternoon.
