I lived in Hekinan for a few years, and in Japan for many more, and of all of the little restaurants I tried in Japan, this was the best. Everything is simple, straightforward, unpretentious, and just plain delicious. Best fried chicken I had anywhere in Japan. The fried cheese is a favorite for accompanying a beer. My wife says the miso soup is the best she's had anywhere. I look forward to returning to Japan this fall and eating at my favorite spot again. As a bonus, they're friendly and welcoming to foreign diners here, and the menu is easy to understand for anyone who doesn't speak much Japanese. こちらの『喜礼共亭(きらくてい)』さんは、愛知県碧南市の碧南高校裏手にある中華屋さん。
ランチ会場を探していると、口コミすべてがからあげか美味しいと書き込まれている中華屋さんを発見。 今回は、このからあげを目的に伺いました。
駐車場は、店前2台と向かい側の月極駐車場に6台確保されているので、車での訪問も安心です。
入店すると、店内はカウンター席とボックス席。 カウンター席はほぼ埋まっています。
本日は、平日限定ランチメニューから〘からあげ定食(大盛りライス)¥1,230〙と〘マカロニサラダ大盛り¥120〙にして注文。
からあげは、ある程度の量を予め揚げてあり、注文を受けてから最後の二度揚げしてカリっと仕上げられています。 上からは油淋鶏風のタレがかかっていて、メチャクチャ美味いからあげになっています。
マカロニサラダは、手作り感満載の自分が大好きな味。 マカロニサラダの大盛り設定があることも納得。 この味が好きな人が他にもいるのだろう。 どんぶり一杯食べたいくらい美味い。
