One of the greatest travel experience I've had! We had a business trip for a nearby factory and stayed at this place, or to be precise, one of places they manage in the shopping street. The staff members were so friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and guided us to locals' go-to places such as public bath, okonomiyaki restaurant, 100-year old bakery, etc. I stayed around there less than 24 hours but I already felt like it's a place that I could come back to. I've always thought the best travel experience is to enjoy completely unfamiliar place like a local, and with their incredible hospitality, they really provided that.

One of the greatest travel experience I've had! We had a business trip for a nearby factory and stayed at this place, or to be precise, one of places they manage in the shopping street. 私は普段あまり旅行をしない。 泊まっても、チェーン店のホテルを選んでいた。繁華街から少し離れた場所に建つホテルがほとんどだった。 なので、商店街の中にホテルの客室があるという環境がすごく新鮮だった。 朝起きて、朝食を食べるために客室のある建物から出ると、行き交う人々がいる。 八百屋さんの前で買い物している人や、自転車で通り過ぎる人、通勤通学する学生や社会人などこの街の朝の生活があふれていた。 商店街の中の喫茶店に入ると、近所のおじさんやおばさんが大勢いて、新聞を読んだりおしゃべりしたりして自分たちの時間を過ごしていた。 私はそういった環境があまり身近になく、どういった感覚なのかわかっていなかった。なのだが、実際に体験してみるとこの空間がすごく落ち着くのがわかった。
