If you’re looking for a sophisticated place to enjoy some whiskey, NAKAMURA Whiskey Saloon is an ideal fit. The staff was wonderful-professional, helpful, and engaging. The whisky selection was a little lacking. They were out of a couple of Japanese whisky’s I was interested in enjoying (Hibiki 17 & TAKETSURU 21)…and their list of whisky isn’t largest to begin with, so I was a little disappointed in this regards. I was able to enjoy a beautiful 17 NIKKA TAKETSURU Whisky. I also tried a couple of other easier to come by whisky’s to know if I’d want to purchase a bottle when available. This in and of itself, was also helpful. I’m not sure that I’d go out of my way to drink here, but if staying in the area, I’d certainly be open to coming back in. Also, the hotel the saloon is attached to is a great place to stay, when in the area.

2021/11-2022/2限定。 ホテルキーフォレスト北杜の館内での特別展示、トヨタ自動車「COROLLA CROSS Presents Meguru Yamaguchi Special Exhibition 」を記念して、バーで振る舞われるオリジナルカクテル。スモーキーな味わいで大変奥ゆかしい。ダークチョコレートで山口歴ブラッシュストロークをグラスに表現するとは想定外でした。 山口歴アートの記念すべき1作目、OUT OF BOUNDS NO. 1を鑑賞しながら、世界のアートを廻る談義ができました！ 良い建築には良いアートがお似合いです！こんな贅沢な時間は、ここでしか味わえません！ありがとうございました♪

今回ステイした「ホテルキーフォレスト北杜」は期待を大きく上回る結果だったわ（私、何様なの？失笑）。八ヶ岳の大自然の中でも一際目立つその外観。斬新で前衛的なデザインでパッと目を引くわけ。かつて八ヶ岳南麓は縄文時代の中心地だったとされていて、縄文人の目線に立ち、小淵沢の持つ自然の形質・生命力からプリミティブ（太古）なエネルギーを具現化したかっただけあってとてもスピリチュアル。その中にあるレストランでは朝食が楽しめたわ。ブッフェではないものの、十分なボリューム！メインの卵料理も美味しくいただきました。
