The Campfire MINAKAMI — Restaurant in Honshu

While traveling through Minakami on a bus tour, we made a stop at The Campfire Grill & Cafe. Even though it's known as a dog-friendly spot, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The atmosphere is super relaxed and welcoming - cozy and comfortable, with interesting art on the walls and rustic wooden beams that give it a real charm. I got a fantastic plate with pork chops, Hamburg steak, rice, and a salad with the most delicious dressing. It was the perfect combination of flavors and textures, and just what I needed to refuel during our journey. It was the perfect place to take a break from the road, enjoy a tasty meal, and recharge. If you want something different from your usual ramen or udon, this might be a good choice. They serve mostly meat based dishes. I had a hamburger with french fries and my wife and a stew. Both dishes were very good. Since the restaurant is on the side of a busy road, it might get noisy during the peak period. The music was a bit too loud. Finally there are only three parking spaces available, so you have to be lucky to get a spot. The staff was polite and professional. Overall, a good restaurant...

Absolutely delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and outstanding service. The view of the river is also super beautiful. They have a convenient qr code menu which you can order from directly on your smartphone, with English language available too!
