Iyo Suigun — Restaurant in Imabari

Writing this bc I still can't forget the experience. Reccomended restaurant to taste Taimeshi and sashimi in Imabari, Ehime! I always loved to taste seafood from various areas in Japan, and this one lived up to my expectation despite it needs a 15 minutes walk to the restaurant.

I ate a very cheap lunch set served with fresh, thick sea bream sashimi, local taimeshi, with other side dishes that compliments the taste of the meal. It was lightly umami but still highlights a distinctive taste and freshness. The tempura is also light, not greasy.

Good food for reasonable prices, which probably explains why the lineup was super long.
