Gyumaru Imariten — Restaurant in Imari

Fantastic attention to detail and really interesting menu items. I ordered the hamburger steak and rib course.

The course included a choice between a 'tomato falsi' or salad. Sounded interesting... so I chose the tomato dish. It was a fresh, whole, chilled tomato stuffed with tuna and covered in a light dressing. Delicious... and something simple but memorable.

But to the reason I left the review: The rib. One giant bone... but probably the most awesome rib I've ever eaten in Japan. I'm afraid to come back and order it again, because I can't believe it will be that good next time. Fall off the bone, honest meaty flavor, cooked perfectly.

The service was fast and friendly, and they're patient with my bad Japanese language ability. No English menu (I didn't ask though). Worth the drive, we will be coming back!

We were looking for lunch along the way to Arita and stumbled upon this gem! After a red eye flight without much sleep, we felt like we were served a homely hearty meal. Staff was polite and attentive to our broken Japanese. We had the hamburg with garlic butter and hamburg stew. Both were fantastic! Even the dessert...

スペアリブはしっかり醤油の染みた味 ボリューム感満載で鉄板からはみ出てます ほろほろ系ではなく、ワイルドさを感じるｽﾍﾟｱﾘﾌﾞ ライスかパンがついてきます

〇煮込みハンバーグ デミソース 酸味は弱め、甘味が強め 甘くくどいこともなく さらーっと口の中に入ってくる ハンバーグは肉汁多めです ライスかはパンがついてきます

〇パイ包みスープ ぎゅう丸の看板メニューと言えば、これですね！ パイはバター風味が強い コーンスープは甘さ強めで美味しい パイに染み込んだコーンスープを 一緒に頬張るとかなり美味しい！！
