やきにく CHAN 石垣島 — Restaurant in Ishigaki

We have eaten yakiniku many times in the United States and Japan. This was by far our favorite place!! The owner greeted us and made a very good recommendation of what to order. The Ishigaki beef was wonderful. I can't say enough about how enjoyable everything was from the service, the food, the atmosphere, and especially the attention we received from the owner. He was very pleasant and accommodating, and we had a great conversation with him. His staff is also very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The price was also very reasonable for the high quality of food. We even had the pleasure of taking a picture with the owner. I forgot to take a picture of our food. A little bit on the expensive side, but some the best pieces of meat i ever had.

We ordered the 3-types of beef, beef tongue, sundobu, a starter set and got innards as a token of gratitude for free.

The meat quality it top-notch, some of the best i had. Melts in your mouth. The selection of sauces are good, but I liked it with salt the best.

I also ordered the 75 beer from Orion which i haven’t seen before.

The servers were polite and chatted a bit with us.

What a really fabulous place to eat out in Ishigaki. The ambience in the restaurant was really nice to begin with, a very lively vibe, and a really cool mix of modern and Okinawa decor. The staff and the owner were super friendly, and really happy to recommend all kinds of things from the menu. Most importantly, the food was really fabulous, We tried the local beef as well as pork and everything was delicious. If I am back in Ishigaki again, I will definitely come back...
