We dined at your restaurant on June 7th, 2025. Our friends, who checked into their hotel that day, invited us for dinner. We placed our order: fries and a Margherita pizza for our child, two Caesar salads and smoked salmon for ourselves. The waiter confirmed our order. After a 30-minute wait, our child's pizza still hadn't arrived. No apology was offered. Our table remained uncleared, and our drinks were not refilled. We had to approach the waiters twice to remind them about the pizza. A couple seated nearby received excellent service. Our table was piled high with dirty dishes. We're unsure of the reason, but it felt like your restaurant discriminated against us, as foreigners. When the pizza finally arrived, the bottom was burnt. We strongly advise against visiting your restaurant, especially with children. A wonderful vacation dinner with friends was completely ruined. This is our second trip to Ishigaki, and we've never experienced such...
Read moreI visited Isigaki for 5 days. I had dinner at Batida for 2 nights. Once for a la carte, once prix fixe ( 12000 yen ). prix fixe seems to be good value; comes with good steak and two different desserts. If you don't like steak and don't plan to order dessert, go for a la carte. I liked Jerk Chicken, ceviche, shrimp toast ( I liked every food from my photos below ). For drink, I liked sangria.
Google map says Batida is Spanish restaurant, but it is not. You may find Pizza, Jerk Chicken on menu.
If you don't read/speak Japanese, no need to worry. Assistant manager Takuji Ando served me well. Thanks again.
As for price, it is almost similar pricing in Seoul.
I am not sure if I can visit Isigaki again in the future, but if I do, I definitely will visit Batida again. I hope the restaurant won't go out of business until I get back to...
Read moreIf I could give more stars, I would! Really GREAT EXPERIENCE! First of all, the staff was very welcoming and friendly and made us feel at ease from the very beginning. Second, the food was extremely fresh, with great combinations of flavours and original interpretations. We ate a lot of dishes because we were very curious to try as much as we could! Very delicate carrot tart and octopus tacos. Super fresh oysters! The pizza tasted as if we were in Italy, very authentic and flavoursome. Beautiful unique desserts, with original twists on classics cocktails. If we come back to Ishigaki, we will dine at Batida for sure again! Do yourself a favour...
