Kappou Misushi — Restaurant in Ishigaki

We didnt realize how important reservations were on Ishigaki specifically for Yakiniku as that is a fairly cheap and easy trip in Tokyo, but it is vital here! All that to say we couldn’t get into Yakiniku and were about to go to KFC when we called here instead and they were kind enough to allow us to come immediately (essentially without reservation) although we did reserve a spot and immediately come. *perhaps we were lucky with timing so please don’t plan around last minute reservations *.

The dining itself was delicious. My wife order the chef recommendations for 11 pieces of sushi and I ordered various sushi that I liked while having a few drinks.

All of the sushi was spectacular, the beer and sake were also quite good! The waitress was especially kind and even brought me water as I was drinking just as a thoughtful effort!

Overall the restaurant was great and id be happy to go back on another trip...

The oysters and Deluxe nigiri and Sushi set was fresh and tasty. The Nigiri with eel and ishigaki beef are delicious. The grilled Spanish mackerel with miso has a nice round flavour and the flamed tuna chin is simply amazing. After one month around Japan it's one of the best we have tried! English...

【三寿司の細巻き】

島4日目の夜はお寿司を食べたくなりゆらてぃく市場近くの『割烹三寿司（みすし）』さんへ。

以前訪問した焼き肉『大野商店』さんとは同じ建物。店主同士はご兄弟なのだそう。お店屋はこぢんまりとしながら雰囲気がよくくつろげる。

メニューはところどころに沖縄の食材を使用しつつも、基本的には内地のお寿司屋さんっぽい構成。

まずはオリオンドラフト@550円から。お通しは姫さざえと枝豆で、さざえはゆず胡椒が効いていた。
