Also, the owner is not Taiwanese. The owner is Japanese. I confirmed this during my order. The reason for this confusion amongst other reviews, was because the wooden beams are NAMED “Taiwan ogatamanoki”, but this wood is actually from Iriomote Island! This restaurant was opened about 1 year ago, but the house is ~ 100 years old. It’s very well preserved and is beautiful inside.
