Tasty, affordable, mid-range Japanese diner. They seemed a bit short-staffed but the service was prompt. The menu has everything from udon to Salisbury steak. For me it’s the tempura that stole the show—crispy, golden, and somehow not greasy at all. Delicious. The shrimp tempura was so light it almost floated off the plate. Happy stomachs all round. And yes, it's not like you can't find places like this up and down the country, all with similar quality, but that doesn't make it any less worthy of an enthusiastic thumbs up!
