We came to try their lunchtime tasting menu and it was one of the best value French tasting menus I’ve had in Japan. The restaurant itself is situated in a beautiful garden overlooking views of Sakurajima and a waterfall. The service was impeccable with highly attentive staff (who could speak some English) and explained how each item was created with high quality local ingredients sourced around Kagoshima. From the tasting menu - my personal favourites was the onion consommé soup in the amuse-bouche, the perfectly-cooked sea bream (Suzuki) and the Kagoshima Kuroge Wagyu sirloin steak which was...

私感になりますが、今回は厳しく評価致します。 昼食でいきましたが、デセールまでの4品で、1:45分程かかった割には、金額の割には、(サービス料まで)内容はイマイチ。

まず、申し訳有りませんが、お冷のグラスが臭い。ナイフ、フォークが傷だらけ。

フレンチを食べに行ったのか？ ケーキを食べに行ったのか？

分からないくらいのものでした。この様な高級店のデセールは、シェフが考案した物が綺麗に盛り付けて、出るのが普通と考えますが、ミニケーキを並べただけじゃないですか！バイキングに来たんじゃないです。若手の女の子が作っているとおっしゃってましたね。ケーキを食べるのになぜかカレーのスプーンが出てきました。ビックリです。

これは、本当に坂井さんが、OKしたものでしょうか？もう少しクオリティー高い物を出して欲しいと思います。

そして、シェフは他のお店のフレンチにも行くべきです。 今回、私は何も有りませんが、この様なお店では、何かの記念日等に利用する方も多いと思います。これでは、いい思...
