This is a nice and convenient location for lunch while visiting Sakurajima. It’s located together with the “Michi no Eki” roadside station where you can buy souvenirs and local products so this makes for a great place to stop during a visit.
It’s a typical cafeteria style restaurant where you buy a ticket for your order at a vending machine and pass it to the staff who will bring your order directly to your table. It has a nice variety of set meals from udon and ramen to karaage fried chicken. All of the buttons are labeled in both Japanese and English so it was easy to find what I wanted to order.
I went for the yellowtail sashimi rice bowl because I wanted something not fried. It was extremely delicious! The sashimi was very fresh and it was the perfect size for a light meal.

There is a wide selection of local dishes such as mikan udon and berkshire black pork ramen. Right next to it is a gift shop with an assortment of goods from Sakurajima.
