This place would be my Go-to Tonkatsu Shop,

Upon arrival, we are greeted really politely by the staff, KAHO was very helpful and she assisted with explaining the dishes and the difference between the cuts. Her english was very good, and we could understand very well. We were not treated any differently from the locals or the other guests so I am not sure what the bad reviews are about.

We had the Tuna Cutlet Katsu and the “Nasukougen-Pork Fillet Cutlet” this is the Japanese Pork as opposed to the Canadian Pork that they also sell.

We also added on two pieces of the Deep Fried Prawn Tempura. Which I highly recommend you do IF you do not get the set with the prawn in it.

The Prawn was huge and the batter was thinly coated with was good.

The fried dishes, were not too oily, and superbly prepared.

The pork was not chewy, very tender and juicy. One of the best i have tasted in Japan.

The tuna though, wow, it was amazing. I’ll come back just to have the Tuna Cutlet Katsu, that was probably the highlight although it was my partner’s item. Highly recommended.

The miso soup had a special item inside that no other shops include, and i’ll have to leave the mystery for you to find out yourself.

Try this. You will not regret it.
