My partner brought me here to share a nice day together. She chose really well! The shop is very cute with traditional architecture and an eclectic feel. There is also beautiful greenery outside to create a peaceful comfort. We had the meat pie, cherry pie and apricot cheesecake (with a couple coffees). All were delicious. I'm from Australia, so it was nice to have a meat pie 😊👍 which is very common in Australia. The only thing I would recommend would be for barrista made coffees (cafe latte) because the beautiful shop makes you feel cosy. The nice coffee adds to the comfort 🤗 ☕. Nice atmosphere, cosy quiet (no kids allowed) cafe with a wide range of freshly made cakes/ pies. It's often quite busy, and kids/ babies are not allowed. 「ストロベリーショートケーキチョコレートがけ」 大好きなストロベリーショートケーキに、これまた大好きなチョコレートがかかっているという夢のようなケーキの存在を知り、冬季にしか販売しないとの事で、ずっとずっと待ってました！！ ここは民家かな？という店構えで、店内は土禁。スリッパなし。 昼下がりに行ったのですが、ほぼ満席。 着席し、お目当てのチョコレートがけ@830とアッサムティー@630を注文。 来るのをワクワクしながらふとお隣さんの足元を見ると、スリッパはいてるーー！トイレなのかな？という方向に行く人達もスリッパはいてるーー！ どこにあったんだスリッパ！！ スリッパはいてなくて恥ずかしいなぁ思いながら、運ばれてきたケーキと紅茶に高揚♪ アッサムティーの香りは抜群に良かった。癒されたー(´∇｀) そして、ケーキを一口、二口、、、味は薄め。チョコがかかってるわりには甘くなく、くどくなく、堪能しようと思ったのに一瞬で食べてしまった。 10歳以下入店禁止らしいので、大人向けな上品な味なのだろう。 濃さを求める私はまだまだお子様か。 お値段は高いけど、大きさがそこそこあるので妥当なのかなぁ。 そもそも、ストロベリーショートケーキにチョコレートがかかっているケーキなんてこの辺りではないからね。好きなら高くても食べたい。 心配していた乳糖不耐症の症状も出なかった。植物性のクリームかな？それならリピできる。 今回は一人で初めて行って、お店の雰囲気に負けた感があるので、今度は誰かと心に余裕を持って行きたい(￣▽￣;) あ、帰り、玄関にスリッパあった...
