Futoshige Sushi — Restaurant in Karatsu

The Futoshige is a hidden diamond in a Hamasaki backyard.

Probably the finest restaurant in Karatsu. Crispy tempura, delicious sushi and mouthwatering mellow sashimi made a scrumptious dinner. The asides and some unexpected garnishments like a tasty yellow Kiko flower added startling flavour to the dish.

Our visit was a delightful happening, a fascinating culinary discovery.

나기노토에 묵으면서 주변에 스시를 찾다가 발견한 집. 2700엔 토쿠조 니기리를 선택했다. 장점) 가격 대비 괜찮은 편. 한국의 중저가 스시야의 모습과 구성이 비슷하다고 생각하면 된다. 스이모노가 좋았으며 마지막 아나고 스시가 발전할 부분은 있으나 가격 대비 훌륭했음. 전체적으로 화려한 맛이라기 보다는 기본에 충실한 맛임. 직원분들이 친절함. 다 먹고 나올 때 스시 잡아주던 두 분과 접객하던 분까지 총 세 분이 배웅해 주던 게 기억이 남. 일요일 오후 5시(오픈시간)에 맞춰서 갔을 때 예약 없이 식사 가능했음. 요일별로 다를 수 있으니 확인 필요. 단점) 영어 불가 스시 갯수가 많지는 않음. 사진을 깜빡하고 안 찍었으나 맥주 한 잔 및 소주 두 잔까지 곁들여 먹었음에도 배부르다는 기분은 아니었음. 총평) 번화가였다면 4점이 될까말까 였겠으나 식당이 많지 않은 작은 마을에서 숙소 외 음식을 접해보기에 적당하다고 생각함. 나기노토에...

Restaurant qui n’accepte pas les étrangers de passage, alors qu’il y avait de la place. Attitude rude et agressive, la seule fois au Japon.
