When you come to Saga Prefecture, you must eat イカ生き造り. I chose this place because this restaurant is very special. it is under the sea ! I arrived there at 12pm on Monday. it was already many people waiting over there . I took the No. 52 ticket and it was No. 21 at that time,after almost 2 hours of waiting, finally i had a table . We ordered the いか三昧コース, and the food arrived quickly. I really like the squid fish tofu(いか入魚豆腐）, and the ika sashimi of course very fresh and good taste. After that, the squid legs made into tempura , excellent 👍 The parking lot there is very full, but they have another parking lot on the other side. There are some windows in the restaurant where you can see fishes in the sea. The water is not too clear but you can still see a lot of fish. I think you must go this restaurant when you come to Saga!

Yes, the restaurant is under water and there is always fish around you. Recommended to come at least 10min before it opens at 11:00 to avoid the line and the longer walk to the overflow parking. Pick up a number at its reception first thing (even before it opens) and wait near reception. You can order using the QR code or with the servers. There is no elevator so make sure you are able to take a flight of stairs.

Excellent fits this place perfectly. The location was amazing. We didn't get to try the underwater restaurant but the regular restaurant was also stunning: comfortable tatami mats and pillows and a view of the open sea. Of course, the food was good. The squid was almost transparent. The mochi was soft and fluffy. Definitely worth the visit.

「名物に美味い物なし」とはいうものの、呼子のイカは一度は食べたいと思い、佐賀・唐津には何度か足を延ばしてはいたものの、なかなか公共交通機関だけではアクセスしにくい呼子へ、ようやくレンタカーで佐賀空港へ降り立つ機会ができたので行ってみることに。 何店舗かオススメは探してみたのですが、その中で一番目を引いたのがここでした。決めては水中展望レストラン。 紀州串本の海中公園など観光用の水中展望タワーは何度か見かけましたが、一介のレストランが自前で水中展望施設を作ってるってのは、これは十分特筆に値するということで、ここで決定!! 注文したのは定番ではありますが「いかコース(税込2860円)」 ・イカの活造り ・イカ焼売 ・食事セット となっており、一杯(たくさんという意味ではなく、イカは「杯」で数えるので「まるごと一匹」って意味ね)のイカ刺身。当のイカは元気に生きていて、ちょっかいを出すと足をバタバタと動かしまず。残酷なようですが、見ていて楽しい(笑) で、胴の部分をすっかり食べてしまうと、一旦皿は下げられゲソの天ぷらとなって食事は続きます。(天婦羅のほかに煮付や塩焼も選択可能) 胴が透明なのが新鮮なイカの証ということですが、この日は生憎の雨で水温が若干上昇した結果、イカの透明度には問題があったようです。そういうわけで写真はインスタ映えしませんでしたが、美味しさは本物です。 いやはや、名物にも美味いものがあったのですね。 如何せん問題点を一つ上げますと給仕さん(♂ アルバイトだと思われる)の態度が如何にも横柄なのが気になりました。 あんなに偉そうに接客されたのはかなりレアな体験です。料理の美味さも大切かも知れませんが、従業員の教育もしっかりやって頂きたいと思い、星をひとつ減点させていただきました。 なんつうか「はるばる地の果てまでやってきて頂き有難う」という感謝の気持ちやらおもてなしやらに欠けていたのは「本当に」残念です。そういうちょっとした接客態度も「おいしさ」の一つであることを飲食店は理解してください。 いや大衆価格の大衆食堂で、従業員の愛想の悪さが売り物の一つにでもなれば、それは話が別ですが。

Enjoy fresh squid ,different season different taste . Please, go when the squid is soft it's easier to swallow. Ha ha. The location is superior to non. The feelings takes you over the top. You can relax with the view specially while sunset. Went with my dear Korean friend MJ . Try it. @モーセン先生

It's not bad but not really good. Kind of not clean area. We ordered two same menu which is squid set, bit one is normal and the other is very small size. I don't know why it served like that. I checked the other table got the same looking size.
